So we have introduced a cleaning / inspection / testing kit for this specialized market. The kit easily handles the wide variety of connectors commonly used, such as simplex or duplex LC or SC, either PC or APC.

NBN Preferred Test Solutions

Kingfisher International is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the NBN Co as a preferred supplier of fiber optic test equipment.

In combination with NBN specific software, our KI734xx two-way testers can test loss on fibers to NBN requirements at the very fast speed of 6 seconds per fiber, with results going directly into the final test report, without any further data manipulation.

In addition, our proven equipment, high accuracy, excellent repeatability and zero warm up, all combine to improve both productivity and test confidence for this demanding application.

Test Conformance to new TIA-942 Datacenter Cabling Standards

Kingfisher International is pleased to announce test solutions in conformance to the new TIA-942A (2012) standard Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers.

Our test equipment offers efficient solutions when working with the required Simplex / Duplex LC and MPO connectors, and accurately measures the small loss values on both singlemode and multimode fiber.

Numerous functional enhancements specifically improve polarity testing, continuity testing and fault finding in this high fiber count environment.

Optical power meters are available that can measure MPO connectors, and do not need re-connecting for each fiber test, making loss testing significantly faster and easier. Flexible reporting software and equipment compliant with TIA-568-C.0, makes both testing and reporting fast and easy.

Multimode optical light sources are Encircled Flux compliant, and provide improved accuracy.

Kingfisher International has introduced the innovative FiberSafe Microscope. This is an inexpensive solution for checking fiber connector end-face quality, a frequent requirement for all staff who work on fiber optic systems.

Microscopes are 400 years old, but we still made useful improvements in safety and convenience. For example, this scope provides additional eye safety, should a user accidentally view a visible fault locator.
