Options For LC Connectors

A range of practical instrument adaptors for LC connectors.

Some customers prefer instruments fitted with robust SC or 2.5 mm connectors, and then use inexpensive adaptor patch leads for the less robust LC connector.

OPT076	LC / F3000 - SC adaptor		A  LC/F3000 - SC style optical connector through adaptor suitable for pall applications. The fiber type and PC/APC connector compatibility is determined by the instrument, not the part shown here. A ceramic adaptor sleeve gives low and repeatable loss, suitable for high performance users. Beware of inferior imitations which have high and variable loss, making them unsuitable for test purposes. The genuine Kingfisher part is exactly like this picture.
OPT072	LC / F3000 - SC adaptor		A precision LC/F3000 - SC style optical connector through adaptor for all applications. This part has been superseded by OPT076 Beware of inferior imitations which have high and variable loss, making them unsuitable for test purposes. The genuine Kingfisher part is exactly like this picture and is identifiable by: All shiny (not matt) blue plastic, no panel mounting holes, "SC-A" lettering on the outside of the body at at the SC end.
OPT189	1.25 mm female to 2.5 mm male single mode PC adaptor		A compact and convenient 1.25 mm PC female to 2.5 mm PC male single mode adaptor. Suitable for use with a VFL source with an SC or 2.5 mm universal adaptor, and an LC connector.
