Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Induction

Kingfisher International has been inducted into the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame by the Minister for Manufacturing and Export, Andre Haermeyer. The Manufacturing Hall of Fame recognises outstanding achievements in Victorian manufacturing.

Victorian Photonics Network - Achievement Award

The Achievement award award recognises Kingfisher International unique achievements in the photonics field in the past 20 years. This award was received at OFC in the USA, along with an endorsement for Kingfisher's induction to the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.

Kingfisher International is the winner of the 2002 Governor of Victoria Export Award, for manufacturers under $20M turnover.

The Governor of Victoria Export Awards are the state of Victoria's most prestigious export awards. They offer acknowledgment and recognition to a wide range of Victoria's leading exporters, and their contribution to the whole community by creating employment and prosperity.

Now in it's 24th Year, the Award categories recognise new and established exporters, large and small companies, manufacturers, and the full spectrum of business service deliverers. The Awards are for companies across the State that are committed to building their businesses and are uncompromising in their commitment to quality and excellence.

Dun & Bradstreet & The Age Business Award

1999

In recognition of the growth of our export & finance, Kingfisher International won the 1999 Age/Dun & Bradstreet State Business Award. Chosen from approximately a quarter of a million companies in Victoria, Kingfisher won the prestigious award after Dun & Bradstreet conducted their balanced scorecard criteria, which carefully examines quite a wide range of business indicators to determine a company's performance.

About 85% of our high-tech fibre-optic testing equipment is exported overseas to Asia, Europe, Middle East & Oceania.
